Business and Employment Issues
If you've checked out other parts of this site, you might think this topic seems completely alien to the other areas I work in, yet because my degree was in Applied Human Communication and I studied HR as well as organisational communication, I have a good amount of knowledge of ‘people issues’ and I enjoy writing about them.
I first branched out in this area by writing for The Guardian about women in high-level positions (and the problem of the 'glass cliff'). I've since written on a number of areas for titles such as Director, Business Monthly (The Independent on Sunday's SME section), North West Business Insider, and easyJet In Flight magazine business pages.
I also can and do write about psychological and communication aspects of both working in organisations, and otherwise. For example, I have written news pieces for US magazine Psychology Today.
