This week I've begun doing some PR work for an acquaintance I met via one of the ConnectMedia network meetings I used to run. It appears to be one of those 'fate' situations that I contacted Jaime Markey, who has recently set up JAM PR, just before she was about to go on holiday and needed some cover while she was away.
So far so good. I've been working on press releases and on general copy for clients, as well as just keeping an eye on things.

Beyond Bliss is a new venture I'm setting up with friend and colleague Barbara Ford-Hammond, and is one which allows me to utilise my writing skills, my counselling and therapeutic background, and my personal interest in anything related to mind, body and spirit.
It's exciting stuff, since we're going to run women's retreats in Greece (oh, didn't I mention getting my love of travel in there too?!) through an exciting programme of workshops designed to help women leave their troubles at home and learn some new techniques to enrich their lives.

I'm amazed no one has picked up on it yet. I'm talking about Big Brother's Laura Williams - who bears an uncanny resemblance to Matt Lucas, of BBC comedy Little Britain.
Hasn't Laura realised that she could be onto a real money spinner doing Dafyyd impressions, with the fact that she's Welsh to add to the overall convincingness of it? Somebody needs to have a word with that girl about the new promising career that could unfold before her!
